“After touring dozens of childcare facilities in the area when we first moved to Milwaukee my gut kept telling me to enroll my kids at St. Aemilian's. This was three years ago, and I could not be happier with my decision.
The teachers are PHENOMENAL and don't leave--all three of my children will have had the same teachers at some point which is really nice as a parent because I have gotten the opportunity to know these wonderful women very well. My oldest just started kindergarten in the Wauwatosa school district and she is ahead of the game in a large part because of what she has learned at St. A's. There is no academic pressure put on the children, but they have a wonderful curriculum in place. My daughter is so excited to do the summer program at St. A's before first grade rolls around--she has really missed it!
I love how much space the children have to learn and play in. Most facilities that I looked at in this city have very small classroom spaces and the kids were on top of one another--very over stimulating. The huge indoor playroom, which a lot of centers did not have, is a major plus. When it rains or is freezing kids still need to run around!
The families are also wonderful. You get the chance to know the parents of your children’s friends--many of my social friends have come through meeting parents at St. A's.
I could go on forever. My son will stay at St. A's for K4 instead of moving to the Wauwatosa public school system where his sister will be in first grade--which clearly means more driving for me, but that is how much I love what this place is doing for my children.”
